Dr. Joe Sebestyen III, Ed.D. is a College Board Certified AP Instructor. He'd built a solid local business helping students score 4s and 5s on AP exams — saving families $40,000+ in college tuition per student. Revenue was $5,000–$15,000/month on average, with a single peak month of ~$50K (and far less in actual cash collected). Growth was manual: word of mouth, local referrals, and a webinar that converted well when people actually showed up. The problem wasn't his offer. It was everything around it.

CONTEXT
Between 2019 and 2022, I went deep on direct response email marketing for clients including BioTRUST (health/supplements) and Clients & Community. This wasn't newsletter writing — it was conversion engineering: welcome sequences, launch sequences, reactivation campaigns, abandoned cart flows, and broadcast emails, all measured against revenue attribution.
